Let me welcome you to
StupidPicture.com, the site
that truly lives up to its name. Sure, you've already seen some
of these gems in your morning email or other websites, but we offer
something different which will enhance your time wasting experience.
We have hired a crack team of writers, or should we say a team of
writers on crack, who spend time with each and every picture you
submit and try to come up with something funny to add as a caption.
One fine morning last month, Danny the mailroom clerk
came up with a brilliant idea of his own; to group the stupid pictures
according to themes and see if we could develop little stories around
them. As you can imagine, Danny no longer works in the mailroom,
and he is sitting across from me, your editor in chief, just waiting
for another smart-ass from the mail room to take his job.
Now in all fairness, we must give credit where credit is due, as
it's quite obvious that without your contributions to our site, Danny
and the other writers would not have anything to inspire them apart
from occasionally seeing their own reflection in a mirror.
SO please, we beg and implore you,
SEND US YOUR PICS.
Send us all the stupid, ugly, funny, ridiculous, homemade,
manipulated, altered, mutated, mutilated, defaced, deranged, comical,
asinine, sophomoric, juvenile, idiotic, hand drawn, scanned,
downloaded, emailed, bad, mad, sad (?), satirical, political,
humorous, biting, scatological (but not too scatological), hilarious,
punny, parodied, humiliated, often copied, but never imitated (?)
images, pics, photos, cartoons, drawings, graphics, woodcuts,
etchings, paintings, etc. Whew!
And please make sure the file sizes aren't too big, and that they
are either .jpg, .gif, and NOT .bmp, .tiff, or .dot, as these will be
rejected by our mailroom clerk. Be mindful of copyright
infringement, as we cannot possibly check the originality of each and
every image featured on the site. Your payment for all this hard
work?

My least favorite Martian
The mysterious DK, One of our
most gifted contributors, is a fan of all things sci-fi and horror.
I guess that politics and horror go hand in hand these days, but we
can still have a laugh.
DK noticed an uncanny
resemblance between Sen. Joe Lieberman and Favorite Martian star Ray
Walston, and made the best, or the worst of it. You decide...
